The Capital Development Authority (CDA) invites applications for the following positions on a contract basis for a period of two years, extendable based on performance and business needs.

Eligibility Criteria & Job Description:

General Requirements:

  • Education: Four-year Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in relevant fields, with experience in cloud technologies and security being highly preferred.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.

1. Assistant Director IT (Cyber Security):

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in Information Security or Technology Risk Management, including familiarity with cloud technologies and security.
  • Key Skills: Understanding of technology controls, privacy laws, and regulations.

2. Assistant Director IT (System Administration):

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in System Administration, with experience in Windows, Linux, and application software.
  • Key Skills: Active Directory, DNS, and security certificates management.

3. Assistant Director IT (Software Development):

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in software development, particularly in cloud technologies and security.
  • Key Skills: OOPs, Data Structures, Machine Learning.

4. Assistant Director IT (Quality Assurance):

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in Black & White Box Testing, with proficiency in Jira, Postman, and Apache JMeter.
  • Key Skills: Quality assurance of custom software and ERPs.

5. Assistant Director IT (DevSecOps):

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in DevSecOps, with proficiency in Jenkins, Docker, virtualization/containerization, and SonarQube.
  • Key Skills: Technology controls and privacy laws.

Preference Will Be Given To Candidates With:

  • Proven work experience in the private or government sector.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to improve system efficiency and implement innovative technological solutions.

General Terms & Conditions:

Application Submission:
Applications along with attested copies of educational documents, experience certificates, recent photograph, CNIC, and domicile must be submitted via mail within 15 days from the date of advertisement. In-person applications will not be entertained.

Age Relaxation:
Age relaxation of 5 years will be applicable as per government policy. All applicable quotas will be observed.

Contract Duration:
The contract is for an initial period of two years, with the possibility of extension based on performance. There is no vested right for regularization.

Shortlisting & Interview:
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for written tests and interviews. Candidates must bring original documents along with attested copies at the time of the interview.

TA/DA:
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

Departmental NOC:
Government employees must attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective department.
