Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme 2025-2026

Program Introduction

The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme invites applications from Pakistan and AJ&K nationals for Bachelor’s, One-Tier Master’s, Master’s, and PhD studies. This initiative is part of a collaboration between the Government of Hungary and the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan, and is managed by the Tempus Public Foundation, Hungary.

How to Apply

Applicants must follow these steps:

Online Applications: Submission of applications is required at both the Hungarian and HEC portals. Applications not submitted on both platforms will be rejected.

HEC Portal Application:

  • Register and complete the profile on the portal.
  • Select the "Hungarian Scholarship Program" option.
  • After submission, retain a copy of the completed form.

Eligibility and Conditions

  • Written Tests: HEC may conduct the Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT) or Undergraduate Studies Aptitude Test (USAT). A minimum of 50% marks is required for eligibility.
  • Only applications marked as "SUBMITTED" on the HEC portal will be processed.
  • Submission of applications does not guarantee selection.
