The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPK PSC) invites online applications for various posts from eligible Pakistani citizens with domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Applications are open until 5:00 PM on 20th November 2024 (official working hours).

Available Positions

1. Civil Judges-cum-Judicial Magistrates/Alaqa Qazi - Peshawar High Court Peshawar

The KPPSC is offering 112 posts (38 fresh and 74 leftover) for the position of Civil Judges-cum-Judicial Magistrates in the Peshawar High Court. This includes posts for both male and female candidates, distributed according to the following quotas:

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification:

  • A Degree in Law from a recognized university, enabling the candidate to practice law, or a Barrister of England or Ireland, or a Member of the Faculty of Advocates of Scotland. Additionally, the candidate must have practiced law for at least two years after enrollment as an advocate, including government service (e.g., Government Pleader, Public Prosecutor).

Age Limit:

  • 23 to 32 years (on the closing date for applications).

Pay Scale:

  • BPS-18

Quotas for Allocation:

Merit Quota:

  • Zone I: 14 Posts (Male/Female)
  • Zone II: 10 Posts (Male/Female)
  • Zone III: 15 Posts (Male/Female)
  • Zone IV: 11 Posts (Male/Female)
  • Zone V: 12 Posts (Male/Female)
  • Zone VI: 8 Posts (Male/Female)

Women Quota:

  • 11 Posts (Male/Female)

Disabled Quota:

  • 5 Posts (Male/Female)

Minority Quota:

  • 17 Posts (Male/Female)

General Conditions for Application

Online Application Submission:

  • Candidates must submit their applications online via the KPK PSC website by 5:00 PM on 20th November 2024.
  • Applications submitted other than online will not be accepted.
  • After submitting the online application, candidates must deposit an application fee of Rs. 500 (excluding service charges) through any Easy Paisa Agent.

Document Submission:

  • Attested copies of all required documents (degree certificates, experience certificates, CNIC, etc.) must be submitted to the KPK PSC within 15 days after the closing date.
  • All documents should also be uploaded with the online application.

Age Relaxation:

  • A relaxation of two years in the upper age limit is allowed for:
  • Government servants with a minimum of two years of continuous service.

Disabled persons.

  • Candidates from backward areas.
  • The period for practicing law (as a Barrister, Advocate, or Pleader) will be excluded from the upper age limit, with a maximum exclusion of two years.

Experience Certificate:

  • The two years’ experience certificate must be duly countersigned by the relevant Session Judge.

Eligibility Verification:

  • Candidates should ensure that all the entries in the online application are correct as per their official documents. Incorrect information may lead to rejection.
  • Domicile once submitted will be final and cannot be changed.

Chances for Examination:

  • Candidates are allowed three chances for each competitive examination and four chances in total for the posts of Civil Judges or similar positions.

Psychological / Aptitude Test:

  • A psychological/aptitude test will be conducted before the interview. Only candidates who appear in this test will be eligible for the interview.

Marriage and Domicile for Female Candidates:

  • A married female candidate may opt for the domicile of her husband or retain her own domicile. This decision, once made, cannot be changed.

Important Notes

  • Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
  • Candidates are advised to fill out the online application form carefully and ensure all details are correct before submitting.
  • Call letters for the test will be available on the KPK PSC website. Candidates should keep visiting the website for updates.
  • No grace marks will be allowed under any circumstances.
