Capital Development Authority (CDA) – Public Sector Organization

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is seeking to fill the following positions on a contract basis for a period of two years, extendable based on performance and business needs. The positions will be filled as per the terms and conditions outlined below:

Position Details:

Director General (Capital Emergency Services)

Basic Pay Scale: BPS-20

  • Qualifications: MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMC). Preference will be given to candidates with National/International certification in emergency and rescue services.
  • Experience: 17 years in a relevant field, in a position equivalent to BPS-17 or above in Government or reputable public/private organizations.
  • Age Limit: 45 years

Director (Fire Service)

Basic Pay Scale: BPS-19

  • Qualifications: Master's degree in Environmental Sciences or Emergency Disaster Management. Preference will be given to candidates with National/International certification in the relevant field.
  • Experience: 12 years in the relevant field, in a position equivalent to BPS-17 or above in Government or reputable public/private organizations.
  • Age Limit: 40 years

Director (Emergency Management Service)

  • Basic Pay Scale: BPS-19
  • Qualifications: MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMC).
  • Experience: 12 years in the relevant field, in a position equivalent to BPS-17 or above in Government or reputable public/private organizations.
  • Age Limit: 40 years

General Information & Instructions

  1. Applications, along with attested photocopies of educational documents, experience certificates, recent photograph, CNIC, and domicile, should be submitted by mail within 15 days from the date of the advertisement.
  2. Incomplete applications and applications submitted by hand will not be entertained.
  3. Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable as per government policy.
  4. All applicable quotas will be observed as per government policy.
  5. CDA reserves the right to cancel the advertisement or modify the number of vacancies as needed.
  6. The selected candidates will be appointed on a contract basis for an initial period of two years, with the possibility of extension based on performance. There is no vested right for regular appointment or regularization.
  7. Only shortlisted candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be called for written tests/interviews.
  8. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the test/interview.
  9. Candidates must bring original documents (educational and experience certificates) along with attested copies at the time of the interview.
  10. Candidates working in public sector organizations must attach a departmental NOC with their application.
