Pakistan Railways Sukkur Division is seeking qualified and experienced retired professionals for various positions on a contractual basis. This opportunity is specifically for retired Station Masters and Assistant Station Masters who are interested in joining Pakistan Railways once again in a contract capacity.

Job Details and Eligibility

Position: Assistant Station Master (Gr-I) (BPS-10)

  • Number of Vacancies: 34
  • Age Limit: Maximum 62 years (as of the closing date for applications)
  • Place of Posting: Anywhere within the jurisdiction of Sukkur Division, as decided by the competent authority.
  • Salary: Pay at the same stage of the post at which the retired Station Master/Assistant Station Master was drawing his pay before retirement. In addition, selected candidates will be eligible to receive any pension or pay increases announced by the Government during the contract period.

Terms and Conditions

  • Contract Duration: The contract is for a period of one year, with a possibility of extension based on performance.
  • Eligibility: Only retired Station Masters/Assistant Station Masters (ASM) from any division are eligible. Retired personnel who were compulsorily retired, removed from service, or dismissed for medical or disciplinary reasons are not eligible.
  • Medical Fitness: Selected candidates must undergo a prescribed medical fitness examination from the Divisional Medical Officer, Sukkur.
  • No TA/DA: No travel or daily allowances will be provided for candidates called for interviews, medical examinations, or other formalities.
  • Right to Reject: The competent authority reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason.

  • Copy of Railway ID/Card
  • Photocopy of Pension Proforma/Authority Letter
  • Service Certificate

  • Three Postal Envelopes with the candidate's full address, telephone number, and mobile number written clearly on each envelope.
