Available Training Disciplines

AFIP is inviting applications for the FCPS-II Training Program in the following disciplines:

  1. Chemical Pathology
  2. Haematology
  3. Histopathology
  4. Microbiology
  5. Immunology
  6. Virology
  7. Nuclear Medicine

Training Outline

  • The induction will be conducted in all four years of training across various disciplines in Pathology and Nuclear Medicine.
  • Trainees will be paid as per the policy outlined by the institute.

Eligibility Criteria

Required Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Candidates must have an MBBS degree.
  • Other Requirements: Candidates must have passed FCPS Part I in Pathology or Radiology (for Nuclear Medicine) or possess an M.Phil Exemption Certificate.

Selection Procedure

Shortlisting and Interview:

  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
  • No TA/DA will be provided for the interview process.
  • Applicants must bring all original documents to the interview.

Training Commencement:

  • The training will begin after receiving approval from the concerned authorities.

Government Employees:

  • Candidates currently receiving salaries from their respective governments will undergo the same selection process. However, these trainees will NOT receive any honorarium.
