The Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA) is seeking qualified and experienced candidates to join their team in various medical positions. These positions will be part of a prestigious pool of assessors, to be engaged on a need basis. IHRA is responsible for regulating both public and private healthcare establishments in the Islamabad Capital Territory under the Islamabad Healthcare Regulation Act, 2018, with the primary goal of enhancing healthcare services.

Job Details and Eligibility Criteria

Clinical Specialist

  • Qualification: MBBS/BDS with FCPS or equivalent, valid PMDC Registration
  • Experience: 8 years post-qualification experience

Tabib

  • Qualification: Bachelor/Diploma in Tibb (BEM/FTJ), Registered with the National Council for Tibb
  • Experience: 8 years post-qualification experience

Nurse

  • Qualification: BS Nursing (Post-RN) or higher degree
  • Experience: 8 years post-qualification experience as a qualified nurse in a hospital

Pharmacist

  • Qualification: B-Pharmacy/Pharm-D
  • Experience: 8 years post-qualification experience, preferably in a hospital setting

Homeo Physician

  • Qualification: Bachelor/Diploma in Homeopathy (BHMS/DHMS), Registered with the National Council for Homeopathy
  • Experience: 8 years post-qualification experience

Assessor

  • Role: To evaluate healthcare establishments based on Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) set by IHRA for licensing purposes
  • Experience: 8 years post-qualification experience in the relevant discipline

Laboratory Technologist

  • Qualification: BS MLT
  • Experience: 8 years post-qualification experience

Electro Medical Engineer

  • Qualification: BSc in Electro Medical Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Biomedical Engineering
  • Experience: 8 years post-qualification experience of managing medical/hospital equipment

Physiotherapist / Speech Therapist

  • Qualification: OPT/MS (SLP)
  • Experience: 8 years post-qualification experience

Terms and Conditions

  • Motivation & Competency: Candidates should be highly motivated, competent, and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Training: Selected assessors will undergo training on standards before starting the assignment.
  • Manuals: Reference manuals of MSDS are available on the IHRA website (www.hra.gov.pk).
  • Application Method: CVs along with attested copies of the National Identity Card, educational certificates, and experience certificates should be sent through registered post or courier service to the address provided below.
  • Labeling the Envelope: The envelope should clearly be marked on the top right-hand corner with the category applied for.
  • Incomplete Applications: Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
  • Application Deadline: The application period will remain open throughout the year; however, for the initial phase, applications will be accepted only 15 days from the publication of this advertisement.
  • Retainership: No retainership fee will be paid to selected candidates. They will remain on the IHRA panel for one year, which may be extended based on approval from the IHRA Board.
  • On-Demand Services: Services may be hired on an as-needed basis or as directed by the IHRA Board.
