Training Program for Treatment Operator Technician License

The Department of Plant Protection (DPP) is conducting a one-month training program aimed at providing candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge to qualify for a Treatment Operator Technician License. This training is designed in accordance with the Plant Quarantine Act of 1976 and Pakistan Plant Quarantine Rules 2019.

Training Program Details:

  • Duration: 12 December 2024 to 12 January 2025
  • Timings: 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM
  • Venues: DPP Offices in Karachi, Multan, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta

The goal of the program is to equip participants with the required qualifications to operate treatment techniques as part of the national plant quarantine system.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • To be eligible for this internship and training program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualification:

  • B.Sc (Hons) in Agriculture, Entomology, Plant Pathology, or a related field from a HEC-approved university.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Internet usage, and Videography is preferred.

License Fee:

  • A fee of Rs. 15,000 for the Treatment Operator Technician License must be deposited to the Head of Department via Bank Challan A-32. You can download the challan from the following link:
