Job Opportunity

Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Management Trainee as per the job advertisement published in Daily Jang on 19 November 2024. The corporation is offering an exciting opportunity for young professionals through its one-year Management Trainee Program.

Position: Management Trainee Programme

PMDC, a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), Government of Pakistan, is offering on-the-job training to young professionals. The Management Trainee Programme is a one-year contractual training opportunity, and successful candidates will be placed under this program without an employer-employee relationship. There is no obligation for PMDC to offer regular employment after the training period ends.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

  • Local or foreign-qualified Pakistan nationals with a bachelor's or master's degree (minimum 16 years of education) or equivalent in the specified disciplines, from an institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC).

Age Limit:

  • The maximum age limit is 28 years as of the date of the advertisement.

CGPA Requirement:

  • Candidates must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0.

Graduation Year:

  • Candidates who have graduated in 2023 or 2024, with or without post-qualification experience, are eligible to apply.

Management Trainee - HR (Human Resources)

  • Qualifications: MBA/Master's in HR

Management Trainee - Finance/Accounts

  • No. of Posts: 02
  • Qualifications: ACCA/ACMA/CIMA

Selection Process:

Written Test and Interview:
Applicants meeting the eligibility criteria will be required to appear for a written test and interview.

Evaluation Criteria:

  • 30% weightage on educational qualifications.
  • 40% weightage on test assessment.
  • 30% weightage on interview performance.

Stipend:
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of PKR 80,000.

Important Notes:

  • Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview/test.
  • No TA/DA will be provided for the interview.
