Vacancy Announcement
The PGMI is looking for qualified candidates to fill 23 vacant positions at the Trauma Center & Emergency Department (Teaching Unit/Faculty) at the Sandeman Provincial Hospital, Quetta. These positions are on an Adhoc/Contract basis.
Interested candidates should submit their applications to the Divisional Director of Health Services, Quetta Division at the Provincial Health Directorate, Saryab Link Road, Quetta. The last date for submission is Thursday, 28 November 2024.
Interviews will be conducted on Saturday, 30 November 2024, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Available Positions and Required Qualifications

Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualifications:
- MBBS degree from a PMDC-recognized institution.
- FCPS/MS or an equivalent postgraduate degree.
- Permanent PMDC registration with the relevant postgraduate qualification.
- Experience:
- Relevant medical experience is required in the specified specialties.
- Local or domicile of Balochistan is mandatory.
- Applicants must be permanent government employees in Balochistan as a Medical Officer (B-17), Lady Medical Officer (B-17), or Specialist (B-18).
Terms and Conditions:
- Age Limits: The age limits will be in accordance with the existing Government of Balochistan policy.
- Retired Government Employees: Eligible to apply, with their cases referred to the government for further consideration.
- Trauma Risk Allowance: May be provided to selected candidates, subject to government approval.
- Contractual Appointment: The positions will be on an adhoc/contract basis for a period of 2 years, with the first year as a probationary period.
- Extension of Contract: The contract may be extended based on the submission of an excellent performance certificate from the MD of the Trauma Center.
- Selection Criteria: Selection will be based on the recommendations of the Selection Committee.
- Disqualification: Candidates involved in disciplinary actions, moral misconduct, or criminal offenses are ineligible. Concealing facts or submitting counterfeit documents will result in immediate dismissal and legal action.
- No TA/DA: No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided for attending the interview.
- Selection Committee's Discretion: The Divisional Health Committee reserves the right to cancel the interview process at any time.
