Position Details

  • Position Title: Wing Head - Assets Rehabilitation Wing North (VP/SVP)
  • Reporting To: Divisional Head - Special Assets Management Division (North), Lahore

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a university/college/institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree or other relevant professional qualifications.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of banking experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role in one of the following areas:
  • Corporate or Commercial Recovery
  • Corporate or Commercial Credit Risk Management
  • Corporate or Commercial Business
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in relevant litigation.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of Corporate & Commercial credit.
  • Familiarity with SBP Prudential Regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as an effective team player.
  • Service-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Windows and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be responsible for the following duties:

Legal and Financial Review:

Conduct legal and financial reviews of newly tagged relationships and prepare action plans and strategies with the team.

Restructuring and Rehabilitation:

Negotiate with obligors to agree on rehabilitation and restructuring plans, aimed at managing liabilities and contributing directly to the bank’s profitability through cash recovery and provision reversal.

Credit Appraisals Supervision:

Supervise the initiation of credit appraisals by the Risk Management Section (RMS) for approval by the competent authority.

Client Visits and Assessments:

Arrange or conduct client visits to review project performance and assess the financial needs of the company.

Monitoring Rehabilitation:

Monitor the progress of rehabilitated relationships to ensure they stay on track and take corrective actions as needed.

Legal Actions & Litigation:

Supervise the preparation for suit filing, criminal complaints, and other legal remedies. Follow up on litigation and monitor the progress of cases in collaboration with NBP’s Legal Division.

Performance and Target Review:

Periodically review the allocated targets versus achievements, taking necessary actions to meet the annual targets.

Business Plan Preparation:

Prepare the annual business plan in consultation with the team.

Other Duties:

Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Employment Type

  • The employment will be contractual for three years, with the possibility of renewal at the discretion of the management.
