Age

  • 21 to 30 years for male candidates
  • 21 to 33 years for female candidates

Height Requirements

  • Minimum 5 feet 7 inches for male candidates
  • Minimum 5 feet 2 inches for female candidates

Physical Requirements

  • For male candidates: Must cover a distance of 1.6 km in 7 minutes
  • For female candidates: Must cover a distance of 1.6 km in 10 minutes

Education

  • Candidates must have passed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent from a recognized board

Place of Residence

  • Candidates must be from the following districts: Lahore, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Nankana Sahib, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Faisalabad, Jhang, Chiniot, Malman, Khandal Bodhran, Dabazi, Atlat, and others
  • Must possess a valid National Identity Card

Driving License and Experience

  • Candidates must hold a valid LTV (Light Transport Vehicle) license
  • At least 2 years of driving experience after obtaining the LTV license, preferably including highway driving experience

Application Form

  • Interested candidates can download the application form from the official Punjab Police website: http://punjabpolice.gov.pk
  • The completed application form, along with the required documents, should be submitted with a processing fee of Rs. 200 (non-refundable).

Submission Deadline

  • The application, along with nine copies of necessary documents, must be submitted by 29th September 2024 to the following offices:

  • Candidates working in government or semi-government institutions should submit their applications through the department before the last date.

Important Notes

No Concessions

  • No age, education, or business qualifications concessions will be granted.

Reserved Quotas

  • 5% of the vacancies are reserved for minority candidates.

Army Service

  • If the candidate has served in the army, the period of service will be deducted from their age. The residual age must not exceed 25 years.
  • Candidates aged over 40 years, or retired for more than 2 years, are not eligible.
  • Those dismissed from the army for moral reasons or extreme actions are not eligible to apply.

Physical and Medical Standards

  • Candidates will undergo a physical test, including distance, height, and chest measurements, and will be interviewed.
  • Only candidates who meet the physical standards and whose applications are complete will be eligible for the next stages.

Additional Points for Police Service

  • Candidates with prior police service may be awarded additional points. They must submit supporting documents (e.g., pension book, retiree minutes) with their application.

Affidavit Requirement

  • All candidates must submit an affidavit declaring that they are not named or accused in any FIR or criminal case.
  • Submission of a false affidavit will result in disqualification and legal action.

Document Verification

  • All educational credentials, ID cards, and other documents must be verified. If found to be fake or unverified, the candidate’s recruitment will be canceled, and further legal action will be taken.

Security and Medical Clearance

  • Initially selected candidates will undergo security clearance and medical board assessments. Candidates found to be colorblind or ineligible during the medical examination will be disqualified.

No Reimbursement of Expenses

  • Candidates will not be reimbursed for any expenses incurred during the selection process.
