Vacancy Details: Administrator Position

The Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, under the Government of Punjab, is offering a full-time position for an Administrator in Lahore. The appointment will be on a contract basis for a period of 4 years.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates applying for the Administrator position must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: MBBS with a postgraduate Level-III qualification recognized by PMDC (erstwhile PMC) or HEC.
  • At least 15 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant field.
  • Additional qualifications in Public Health, Finance Management, or Law will be given preference.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership role, especially in Organ Transplantation, will be preferred.
  • Research publications (PubMed/PMDC/HEC) will be an added advantage.
  • Candidates should have experience in academic, clinical, operational, and management roles, including budgeting and organizational management.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and the ability to ensure compliance with these standards is essential.
  • Strong administrative, analytical, and communication skills are required for the role.

Terms and Conditions

Candidates applying for the position of Administrator should take note of the following terms and conditions:

Ineligibility Criteria:
A person will not be considered eligible for appointment if they:

  • Are a member of the Federal or Provincial legislature, local council, or any local body under the law.
  • Are currently employed in a government position or hold any office that is paid from public funds.
  • Have been convicted of an offense involving moral turpitude.
  • Are a member of the Monitoring Authority of PHOTA.

Affidavit Requirement:
The selected candidate must submit an affidavit declaring they will not own or have any interest in a clinic or hospital involved in organ transplantation.

Full-Time/Non-Practicing Post:
This position is full-time, and the appointee will not be permitted to practice medicine while holding the role.

Appointment Verification:
The appointment will be subject to the verification of the candidate’s educational degrees and experience certificates. Any costs related to verification will be borne by the candidate.

  • Shortlisting:
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
  • Incomplete Applications:
  • Applications that are incomplete will not be considered.
  • TA/DA:
  • No TA/DA will be provided for the interview process.
