Eligibility Criteria

Prescribed Qualifications:

Education: Graduate from a recognized university.

Experience:

Three years' service as Head Constable or Assistant Sub Inspector in the functional unit.

Age Limit:

  • Male: 23 to 35 years + 5 years relaxation = 40 years
  • Female: 23 to 35 years + 5 years relaxation = 40 years

Special Note:

  • A one-time five-year age relaxation is applicable for in-service candidates for this recruitment cycle.

Gender and Domicile:

  • Gender: Male and Female
  • Domicile: Specific to the region (e.g., Lahore, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, etc.)

Place of Posting:

  • Anywhere in Punjab.

Important Notes Regarding Eligibility

1. Only Head Constables and Assistant Sub Inspectors recruited on a permanent basis are eligible.

2. Employees on deputation or borrowing basis must provide relevant documentation.

3. Experience certificates must be verified by the respective DPO, CPO, or CCPO.

4. Candidates must meet eligibility criteria by the application closing date.

Syllabus for Written Examination/Test

  • Details will be uploaded separately on the PPSC website.
  • Psychological assessment may also be conducted.

Application Fee:

  • Deposit fees online via ATMs, mobile banking, internet banking, or over-the-counter services at 1Link Member Bank branches.

Documentation:

  • Submit equivalence certificates for foreign/local qualifications, if applicable.
  • Provide registration proof for private firms/entities if claiming experience.
  • Obtain NOC/DPC if employed in government or semi-government organizations.

Interview Requirements:

  • Submit a marks/percentage certificate for all qualifications.
  • CGPA will not be accepted.

Age Relaxation:

  • No age concessions are applicable beyond the special provision for this recruitment cycle.

Examination Centers:

  • Tests will be conducted only at Lahore for specific categories like shorthand, typing, and proficiency.
