Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Position at TUSDEC

Overview:

TUSDEC has been created to upgrade technology and skills of key industrial sectors in Pakistan, connecting the country to global value chains. As the CEO, you will be responsible for leading the organization and managing its operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the profitability and efficient management of TUSDEC.
  • Ensure the implementation of business strategies and policies approved by the Board of Directors.
  • Manage Human Resources and utilize organizational resources efficiently, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.
  • Ensure business operations align with the Companies Act, 2017, and other applicable regulations.
  • Formulate and present strategic business plans and financial controls to the Board.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering (16 years of education).
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or Economics from a reputable HEC-recognized university.
  • Candidates with foreign qualifications must provide equivalence from HEC.

Experience:

  • Minimum 18 years of relevant experience, including at least 10 years in a senior management role.
  • Experience in technology/skill development initiatives that have enhanced productivity and competitiveness within specific sectors is highly preferred.

Age Limit:

  • The candidate should not exceed 57 years of age at the time of application.

Pay Package & Contract:

  • A competitive remuneration package will be offered, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
  • The appointment will be on a contract basis for a period of three years.
