About the Project
Dasu Hydropower Consultants (DHC) is the Supervision Consultant for the implementation of the Dasu Hydropower Project. The project is aimed at providing technical support to WAPDA (Water and Power Development Authority) across various dimensions, including technical, environmental, social, and occupational health and safety aspects of the project. The work will be based in Dasu, District Upper Kohistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Pakistan.

Position Available
1. Junior Monitoring Engineer (1 Position)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (with a focus on Dam, Powerhouse Complex & Tunnel)
  • Recognized by HEC (Higher Education Commission) and Registered with PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council)

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction supervision and monitoring of RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) dams, appurtenant structures, and underground excavation.
  • Experience in hydropower projects will be preferred.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Good knowledge of construction methods, operations, materials, and equipment involved in RCC dam construction.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other related software.
  • Strong communication, reporting, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to supervise and evaluate the quality of work.
  • Capability to manage subordinates/site staff efficiently.
  • Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor the quality of construction work.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and construction standards.
  • Oversee the performance of site staff and coordinate effectively with various teams.
  • Prepare reports, conduct evaluations, and assist in the overall management of the project’s progress.
