Qualifications and Experience Required

The following qualifications and experience are required for the various positions:

For Junior Technician Posts:

  • F.Sc. with a minimum of 2nd division from a recognized board and a diploma in the relevant Allied Health Sciences discipline from a recognized board.
  • If no candidates are available with the above qualifications, candidates with Matric (2nd division) in Science from a recognized board and a two-year diploma in the relevant discipline from a recognized institute will also be considered.

Terms and Conditions

  • Eligibility: Both male and female candidates with domicile of Punjab are eligible to apply.
  • Contract Appointment: The positions are for a contract period of 3 years, extendable based on performance.
  • O Level and A Level Candidates: Candidates with O and A Levels must submit an equivalence certificate.
  • Special Persons: Differently-abled candidates must attach proof of registration from the Social Welfare Department along with a disability certificate.
  • Document Verification: Original documents must be presented during the interview.
  • Age and Experience: The age and experience of candidates will be calculated based on the last date of application submission.
  • Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be granted as per the Government of Punjab S&GAD Notification & Recruitment Policy, 2022.
  • Quotas: Quotas will be followed according to the Recruitment Policy, 2022.
  • Merit-Based Recruitment: Recruitment will be strictly based on merit according to the Contract Appointment Policy 2004 and the Recruitment Policy 2022.
  • Separate Application: If applying for more than one post, candidates must submit separate applications for each position.
  • Government Servants: Candidates already employed by the government must apply through their respective departments along with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
  • Recognized Degree: Only degrees issued by universities recognized by HEC or reputable foreign universities with HEC equivalence will be considered.
  • Fake Documents: Submission of fake documents or concealment of any fact will lead to disqualification.
  • Document Submission: Shortlisted candidates must bring all original documents along with a set of attested copies to the interview. Degrees must be attested by HEC.
  • Post Changes: The department reserves the right to cancel, increase, or decrease the number of posts.
  • TA/DA: No TA/DA will be allowed for test or interview appearances.
  • Eligibility Confirmation: Candidates should ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before applying.
  • NTS Requirement: Candidates must achieve at least 50% marks in the NTS test to be eligible for the interview.
  • Shortlisting: Shortlisting for the interview will be based on the criteria defined by the department.
