Career Opportunity: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

IESCO is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled individual to lead the company as its Chief Executive Officer. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong leadership qualities, a proven record of performance, and the capability to guide the company towards continued growth and customer satisfaction.

The CEO will play a key role in driving the company’s performance targets and managing its resources effectively.

Qualifications and Experience Required

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics), Business Administration, Public Administration, Management Sciences, Finance, Commerce, or an equivalent qualification from a reputable institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
  • Preference will be given to candidates holding a Master’s degree in the above disciplines.

Experience:

  • At least 20 years of verifiable experience in large-scale organizations, with a minimum of 3 years in senior management or C-level positions.
  • Experience in managing large organizations with financial scale comparable to IESCO’s operations.

Age Limit:

  • The candidate must not exceed 62 years of age on the last date for submitting applications.

Fit and Proper Criteria:

  • The candidate must fulfill the Fit and Proper Criteria as per the guidelines prescribed in the State-Owned Enterprises (C-Level Appointments) Guidelines 2024, the Companies Act 2017, and the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operation) Act 2023.

Remuneration Package:

  • The remuneration package will be market-based and commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications and experience.
  • Benefits include company-maintained accommodation, a vehicle, and medical facilities as per company policy.

Term of Contract:

  • The initial contract is for a period of three (03) years, with annual evaluations conducted by the Board of Directors (BoD) of IESCO.

Resignation from Current Position: If the selected candidate is employed by another organization, they must resign, retire, or sever their connection with the parent department prior to joining IESCO.
