Key Details and Requirements

Tenure and Age Limit

  • Tenure: 3 years on a contract basis (detailed terms will be included in the appointment letter).
  • Age Limit: Not more than 60 years as of the publication date of the advertisement.

Minimum Qualification and Experience

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

Option A

  • Master's degree or equivalent (foreign qualification recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan) OR membership in a recognized body of professional accountants.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience, including:
  • At least 5 years as a Key Officer, Director, Chief Executive, or Principal Officer in the insurance industry or insurance regulatory sector.

Option B

Certifications/Qualifications:

ACII or FCII certification.

  • Fellowship or Associate of the Institute or Society of Insurance Company Actuaries (or equivalent).
  • Master’s degree in insurance, risk management, or actuarial science from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience, including:
  • At least 5 years as a Key Officer, Director, Chief Executive, or Principal Officer in the insurance industry or insurance regulatory sector.
  • Candidates must also meet the requirements outlined in:
  • Companies Act, 2017.
  • Insurance Companies (Sound and Prudent Management) Regulations, 2012.
