PPMC Overview
Power Planning & Monitoring Company (PPMC) is responsible for providing policy and technical support to the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), developing and implementing strategic plans for the power sector, and monitoring the performance of power sector entities. The Company is seeking applications for various positions from eligible candidates who can perform the tasks in line with company policies. Candidates will undergo a probation period of three months, after which they will be regularized as per company policy.
Candidates should have strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills. They must be IT-savvy and exhibit integrity and maturity when handling sensitive company information.
Available Positions
1. Director General (Corporate Finance and Regulatory Affairs)
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Corporate Finance & Regulatory Affairs Department of PPMC
- Provide strategic direction to the Board and manage the entire corporate finance function
- Design and implement financial strategies, including tariff reforms and subsidy projections
- Coordinate with stakeholders such as CPPA and DISCOs in tariff setting and circular debt management
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant/Cost & Management Accountant or CA Inter/ICMA Inter/ACCA/CFA
- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related fields (16 years)
- At least 12 years of relevant experience in finance
- Age Limit: 55 years
2. Team Lead (Corporate Finance & Regulatory Affairs)
Responsibilities:
- Support the Director General in managing strategic financial matters
- Lead the design and notification of consumer end tariffs and support tariff-related reviews
- Prepare monthly Circular Debt Reports and assist in forecasting payables to IPPs
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant/Cost & Management Accountant or CA Inter/ICMA Inter/ACCA
- 07 years of relevant experience in national/multinational organizations

3. Team Lead (Information Technology)
