CSS Written Competitive Examination-2025

The CSS Written Competitive Examination-2025 will be held from 15 February 2025. The examination will take place in 19 cities as mentioned in the CSS Rules, 2019. Candidates who have qualified for the MCQ-based Preliminary Test (MPT) and wish to appear for the written part of the examination must apply online through the FPSC official website before 6 January 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates applying for the CSS Written Competitive Examination-2025 must fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
  • Educational Requirements: Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree with two divisions.
  • Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age. Two years of age relaxation will be granted to categories specified in Rule-6 of the CSS Competitive Examination Rules, 2019.
  • Eligibility Date: The cutoff date for determining eligibility (age, qualification, domicile, etc.) is 31 December 2024.
  • MPT Qualification: Only candidates who have qualified for the MCQ-based Preliminary Test (MPT) for CSS-2025 can apply.
  • Important Note: Candidates will be admitted provisionally to the examination. After the result of the written examination, if any candidate is found ineligible in any respect, their candidature will be canceled, regardless of their performance in the exam.

Application Process

Candidates must follow these steps to apply for the CSS Written Competitive Examination-2025:

Deposit Examination Fee:

The examination fee of Rs. 2200 must be deposited in the nearest Government Treasury, State Bank of Pakistan, or National Bank of Pakistan by 6 January 2025. The fee should be deposited under the account head "C02101-Organs of State Exam fee (FPSC Receipt)" using the challan form available on the FPSC website.

Submit Online Application:

  • Submit your online application through the FPSC official website by 6 January 2025.
  • Choose your optional subjects as per Appendix-I of the CSS CE Rules, 2019.
  • Select the examination centre carefully, as changes may not be allowed after submission.

Send Hard Copy of Application:

  • After submitting your online application, send the duly signed hard copy along with the following documents:
  • Original Treasury Receipt for the fee payment.
  • Attested copies of your Matric certificate, Intermediate certificate, Bachelor’s degree, CNIC, self-domicile, etc.
  • Four passport-size photographs.
  • The hard copy and documents must reach FPSC by 16 January 2025. Late submissions will be rejected.

  • CSS Written Examination Date: 15 February 2025 (Saturday)
  • Admission Certificates: Available for download on the FPSC website by 5 February 2025.
