Position Details

CSS Written Competitive Examination-2025

The Federal Public Service Commission invites eligible candidates to apply for the CSS Written Competitive Examination-2025. Below are the details regarding the examination:

Key Dates:

  • Last Date to Apply Online: January 6, 2025
  • Examination Date: Starts on February 15, 2025 (Saturday)
  • Examination Centers: The examination will be held in 19 cities as per the CSS Rules, 2019.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • MPT Qualifiers: Only candidates who have qualified the MCQ-based Preliminary Test (MPT) for CSS 2025 can apply.

Educational Qualification:

  • At least a 2nd Division Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
  • Master's degree holders will also be eligible.
  • Age Limit: Between 21 to 30 years as of December 31, 2024. A two-year age relaxation is applicable to certain categories as per the CSS Competitive Examination Rules, 2019.
  • Eligibility Confirmation: Eligibility will be scrutinized post the written examination. If any candidate is found ineligible after detailed scrutiny, their candidature will be canceled regardless of their results in the examination.

Application Process:

Examination Fee:

  • Deposit the examination fee of Rs. 2200 in the nearest Government Treasury, State Bank of Pakistan, or National Bank of Pakistan by January 6, 2025, under the account head "C02101-Organs of State Exam fee (FPSC Receipt)".

Online Application:

  • Submit the online application via the FPSC website on or before January 6, 2025.
  • Choose optional subjects in accordance with Appendix-I of the CSS CE Rules, 2019.
  • Select your examination center carefully, as changes will not be allowed after submission.

Hardcopy Submission:

  • Send a signed hard copy of the online application along with the original Treasury Receipt, attested copies of Matric, Intermediate, Graduation certificates, CNIC, self-domicile, and four photographs to FPSC.
  • Ensure the documents reach FPSC by January 16, 2025. Late submissions will not be accepted, and the candidature will be rejected.

Admission Certificate:

  • The Admission Certificate for the CSS written examination will be uploaded on the FPSC website by February 5, 2025, from where candidates can download it. No separate communication will be sent.

Important Notes:

  • Candidates are advised to submit their online applications well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues with the website traffic.
  • FPSC will not be responsible for any non-submission due to website overload in the last hours before the deadline.
  • Ensure that the hard copy of the application and documents reach FPSC on time, as any delays due to postal issues may result in rejection.
