The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has announced several vacancies in the Digital Communication Department for its PSDP Project titled "Establishment of National Communication & Strategy Unit". This project is based in Islamabad, and applications are invited for the following positions. The advertisement was published on 28 November 2024 in Mashriq Newspaper.

The Ministry is seeking highly qualified, experienced, and motivated individuals for these positions. Candidates with qualifications ranging from Primary to Master’s degrees (including BCS, BBA, MBA, MS, etc.) are encouraged to apply.

Qualification, Experience, and Eligibility Criteria

Project Head (PPS-10)

  • Qualification: Master's/Bachelor's (16 years of education) in Project Management, Business Administration, or Digital Media Marketing (or equivalent) from a university recognized by HEC.
  • Experience: 10 years in project management in reputable national or international organizations.
  • Age Limit: 40-50 years.
  • Preference: International exposure.

Campaign Manager (PPS-9)

  • Qualification: Master's/Bachelor's (16 years of education) in Digital Media, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Economics, Tourism and Culture, Diplomacy and Strategic Relations, International Relations, Computer Science, Data Sciences.
  • Experience: 7 years in Information Technology/System Analysis & Design/ICT Security/Computer Programming/Network Management/System Administration (BS-17 or above).
  • Age Limit: Maximum 35-45 years.
  • Preference: Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP) and relevant Network and Security certifications.

Head/Content Developer (Economy) (PPS-8)

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s (14 years of education) in Digital Media Marketing, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Economics, Diplomacy and Strategic Relations, International Relations or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5 years in content development for digital media campaigns focused on culture & tourism projection.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 35-45 years.
  • Preference: Experience working with international organizations.

Researcher (PPS-7)

  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mass Communication, or Media Sciences.
  • Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in international organizations.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 25-40 years.

Assistant (PPS-5)

  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mass Communication, or Media Sciences.
  • Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in international organizations.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 25-40 years.

Steno Typist (PPS-4)

  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mass Communication, or Media Sciences.
  • Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in international organizations.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 25-40 years.

Naib Qasid (PPS-1)

  • Qualification: Middle/Primary education.
  • Age Limit: 18-30 years.

Terms and Conditions

  • Merit Quota: All positions will be filled against the merit quota.
  • Contract Duration: The initial contract will be for one year, extendable for another year depending on the performance and project tenure.
