Eligibility Criteria:

Junior Engineer (SDO):

  • Qualification: BE/B.Sc./BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with at least 60% marks from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Age Limit: 21–28 years (general age relaxation as per government policy).
  • Additional Requirement: Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and proficiency in MS Office.

Revenue Officer (RO):

  • Qualification: MBA/M.Com/M.Sc. in Computer Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics with at least two 1st Divisions in the academic career.
  • Age Limit: 21–28 years.
  • Additional Requirement: Computer proficiency, especially in Windows and MS Office.

Line Superintendent (LS-I & LS-II):

  • Qualification: Matric with a 3-year DAE in Electrical/Electronics with 1st Division from a recognized technical board.
  • Age Limit: 18–25 years (general age relaxation as per government policy).
  • Experience: 1-year relevant experience (experience relaxable for candidates with higher qualifications).

Instructions and General Conditions

  • Candidates will be recruited on merit and required to work within MEPCO's jurisdiction.
  • No TA/DA will be provided for tests or interviews.

Application Process

Step 1: Online Application

  • Visit the IUB portal: https://mepco.jub.edu.pk.
  • Upload scanned copies of academic certificates, CNIC, domicile, PEC registration (if applicable), and paid challan.

Step 2: Submit Hard Copies

  • Send attested copies of required documents through courier/post to:
  • Assistant Registrar, HR-E, Room Number 103, First Floor, Abbasia Campus, The Islamia University Bahawalpur.

Step 3: Pay Test Fee

  • Officers (Sr. No. 1 & 2): Rs. 1,000/-
  • Officials (Sr. No. 3 & 4): Rs. 750/-
  • Payment through the unique computerized challan generated on the IUB portal.

Step 4: Download Roll Number Slip

  • Roll number slips will be available on the IUB website at least one week before the test.
