About Chenab College Shorkot

Chenab College Shorkot, part of JET, is affiliated with BISE Faisalabad. The college is located on a 22-acre campus along Cantt. Road, Shorkot.

Position Overview

Post: Accountant (BPS-16)

  • Contract Basis: Initial tenure of one year, extendable based on performance.
  • Monthly Salary: Rs. 60,000/-

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

  • M.Com, MBA, BBA (Hons), or equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized institution.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of accountancy experience in a reputable public or private senior school, college, or university.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the accounts and financial operations of the college.
  • Oversee salary calculations and disbursements.
  • Handle withholding tax calculations and vendor payments.
  • Coordinate with banks and maintain financial ledgers.
  • Manage EOBI/PESSI, fee reconciliation reports, CP Fund, gratuity, and related records.
  • Ensure financial transparency and compliance with regulatory standards.
