Individual Consultant Procurement Notice

The Home Department seeks a qualified Individual Consultant for a 6-month contract (extendable). The details of the position are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: 45 to 67 years

Qualification:

  • PhD in Analytical Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related disciplines.
  • Advanced certifications in forensic methodologies and laboratory management (preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of post-PhD experience in forensic applications.
  • At least 10 years of laboratory experience as a Bench Analyst in DNA profiling, toxicology, or trace evidence analysis.
  • Expertise in managing ISO/IEC 17025-accredited forensic labs and quality assurance systems.

Research:

Minimum of 8 peer-reviewed publications, including 3 in international journals, in biochemistry or forensic sciences.
