Eligibility Criteria for Faculty Positions

1. Professor (BPS-20)

  • Age Limit: As per PMC/PMDC guidelines.
  • Qualification: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PMC, with postgraduate qualifications such as FCPS, MS, FRCS, MRCP, MD, or Diplomat of American Board in the relevant specialty.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years as an Associate Professor in a recognized institution.
  • Credit will be given for research published in standard medical journals.

2. Associate Professor (BPS-19)

Qualification: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PMC, with postgraduate qualifications such as FCPS, MS, FRCS, MRCP, MD, or Diplomat of American Board in the relevant specialty.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years as an Assistant Professor in a recognized institution.
  • Credit will be given for teaching experience and published research.

3. Assistant Professor (BPS-18)

Qualification: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PMC, with postgraduate qualifications in the relevant specialty.

Experience:

  • 3 years of teaching or practical experience in the specialty.
  • Research publications in recognized medical journals will be credited.

General Provisions and Application Guidelines

Required Documents

Two sets of attested copies of all educational documents (Matric, FSc, MBBS, postgraduate qualifications, etc.), experience certificates, PMC/PMDC registration, domicile, CNIC, and two recent passport-sized photographs.

  • Copies of published research papers (if applicable).

Additional Requirements

  • Valid PMC/PMDC registration.
  • Punjab domicile is mandatory.

Age Relaxation

  • Male: 5 years.
  • Female: 8 years.

Application Deadline

  • January 28, 2025 (Tuesday).

Submission

Applications must be submitted to the Office of the Vice Chancellor, Faisalabad Medical University, Sargodha Road, Faisalabad.
