The Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) has announced multiple vacancies for eligible Pakistani nationals. The advertisement was published in the Daily The News Newspaper on January 30, 2025. Applications are invited for the following positions on a regular basis, initially with a six-month probation period.

Vacant Positions

1. Research Associate / Sub-Editor (BPS-17)

  • Number of Posts: 01

Qualification:

BS or equivalent (16 years of education) in International Relations (IR), Defense & Strategic Studies (DSS), Peace & Conflict Studies, Media Studies, or a comparable discipline.

Experience/Publications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as Associate Editor/Sub-Editor in a reputable journal, magazine, newspaper, or similar publications in print media OR
  • Minimum 2 years of research experience at a reputable university, institution, or media house.

Age Limit: 30 years

2. Naib Qasid (BPS-3)

  • Number of Posts: 01

Qualification:

  • Matric (SSC) or Middle pass with relevant experience.
  • Medically fit
  • Age Limit: 25 years
